Fishguard sits on the Pembrokeshire coast, and from here a five-minute drive takes you inland to West Barn, a converted agricultural building set within seven acres of countryside. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom property sleeps four and comes as a whole to yourself, with parking for two cars and a lawned garden that opens onto a large patio.

Ground floor rooms include a living room with a wood burner, forty-two-inch smart TV, and bi-fold doors onto the patio; a separate sitting room without a television; and a kitchen/dining room with a dishwasher, electric hob and oven, and a washer-dryer. Upstairs are a bedroom with a king bed and another with two singles. The shower room has underfloor heating and a heated towel rail. Essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are covered; logs for the burner are provided, and a welcome pack arrives with you. One dog can stay, though it must be kept on a lead in this sheep country. No smoking indoors.

The grounds include a Site of Special Scientific Interest and open out across the Cleddau Valley towards the Preseli Hills. Fishguard's lower town has a harbour, cafés, galleries and restaurants, and the Pembrokeshire Coast Path lies minutes away by car.

A lovely barn conversion in the Pembrokeshire countryside just a short drive from Fishguard. We had a very relaxing break here in August. The cottage is well furnished, spacious and has all that you need for a great stay. Lots to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommended

We have had a wonderful week's holiday in the East cottage. It is very comfortable, homely and well equipped. Its location is great for exploring Pembrokeshire which, has a fantastic coastline with great beaches. Su & Noel were great hosts, friendly and very helpful offering advice on great places to visit.

What a fantastic place for a relaxing break. We stayed at West Barn and it was very well equipped, with everything and more than you could possibly need. We looked out onto fantastic views, Su and Noel pointed us in the direction of some lovely beaches and I think we went to them all with Meg (our border collie). We have already booked to return in the new year and can't wait!
