The kitchen has an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and fridge-freezer, making it straightforward to cook proper meals rather than rely on takeaways. Downstairs, a living room with Freeview Smart TV, separate dining room and utility room with washing machine mean the practical side of a week away is handled without fuss.

The three bedrooms sleep up to six: a kingsize bed in the main room, a double in the second, and a single with pull-out single bed in the third. There is one bathroom with a bath and shower cubicle, plus a separate toilet. An enclosed garden with decked areas on two levels looks out over the Gwaun Valley. The cottage sits a short walk from Lower Town harbour and the market town of Fishguard, where The Ship Inn serves food and the high street has shops, cafes and restaurants. One well-behaved pet can stay free of charge. The property is non-smoking.

The nearest public car park is 300 yards away; on-road parking is also available. Those travelling with young children will find a cot, highchair and stairgate here. Check-in is after 15:00 and checkout before 10:00.
