Admergill Lodge
Pendle
Families and small groups looking for a rural base with genuine outdoor access will find Admergill Lodge well placed. The property sits where the Pendle Way starts on the doorstep, with the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty nearby—walking and cycling country without the need to travel far. The cottage itself was refurbished in 2020, retaining oak beams and character while adding modern comfort. One well-behaved dog stays free, and there is private parking for two cars and a secure bike store.
The ground floor holds a living room with woodburner and smart TV, plus a kitchen and dining space fitted with an electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher and coffee machine. Underfloor heating runs through this level. A utility room houses the washing machine, and the bathroom features a roll-top bath and heated towel rail. Upstairs are two adjoining bedrooms—the first with a super kingsize bed, the second accessible through it, with a kingsize that converts to two singles, plus two further single beds. The second bedroom suits younger children or friends travelling separately.
Essentials like bed linen, towels and wifi are included, along with initial logs for the fire. A large lawned garden with courtyard and patio doors from the living room extends the space outdoors. Local restaurants range from village pubs to Michelin-starred dining within ten minutes' drive. No smoking throughout.
