The Old Post Office is a two-bedroom cottage in Burnley, a former sorting office converted into self-catering holiday accommodation. The property sleeps four across a flexible master bedroom—a super-kingsize that converts to twin beds on request—and a separate kingsize room. Downstairs you'll find a living room with a gas fire and smart TV, a dining room with an electric wood burner, and a modern kitchen equipped for proper cooking, including a dishwasher and washing machine. Upstairs adds a second sitting room, so there's plenty of space to spread out. The bathroom has both a bath and shower cubicle.
Essentials like bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included. Outside, a patio garden with furniture and a barbecue provides a private outdoor space. There is on-site parking for one car. The location puts you within a mile of a pub, and the surrounding countryside is accessible for walks. No smoking indoors. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

A perfect holiday cottage. The owners have really taken the time to make sure you have everything you need. The beds are comfortable with plenty of spare bedding and towels. The house is spotlessly clean. Great private garden with outdoor furniture for entertaining next to a driveway. The village is very peaceful with stunning views over the valley. Laundry service was an added bonus with our clothes coming back the same day and smelling amazing. I am a pretty picky person (I just know what I like in life) and this house is faultless. We wil definitely be return guests.

Consider ourselves lucky to know the owners well. We have stayed here a few times and it’s been renovated to a very high spec. The fittings and fixtures are beautifully done. When the sun is out the garden is idyllic and peaceful. The area has some great pubs. Looking forward to our next stay.

Nathan and Fil. Thank you for opening this gem of a holiday home. Our stay has, as promised, been home from home. Beautifully decorated and maintained. Comfortable and cosy with thoughtful amenities. Close to everything we wanted to see & do and within walking distance of some fabulous local pubs. Perfect base from where to explore around Pendle Hill and the surrounding countryside.
