Built in the 1820s, Arden House stands in Comrie, a conservation village on the River Earn in rural Perthshire. The semi-detached property retains period features throughout, though a recent refurbishment has brought it up to standard for holiday lets. It sleeps six: three bedrooms contain a kingsize, a double and two singles, with one shower room and toilet across the first floor.
Ground floor living centres on a spacious sitting room with Smart TV and wood-burning stove, flowing into a dining room and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking—oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and the usual appliances are all here. Bed linen, towels, heating and Wi-Fi are included. Out the back, a small courtyard with seating and a BBQ opens onto the garden. One well-behaved pet stays free of charge. Smoking is not permitted inside.
The village itself has a butcher, greengrocer, baker and deli within easy reach, along with a supermarket and pub. Lochearn is nearby for water sports, and a local 9-hole golf course sits close by; a network of walking routes and quiet cycle tracks spreads out from the front door. Perth lies within reasonable driving distance.
