Comrie sits in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the edge of the Highlands, and Rathlin Coach House puts you within a minute's walk of the village centre. The high street has independent shops—baker, butcher, grocer, delicatessen—alongside coffee shops, restaurants and bars. A 9-hole golf course is nearby; Gleneagles Championship courses are 20 minutes away by car. Crieff, 6 miles south, has supermarket shopping. The village hosts events throughout the year, including the Flambeau torch-lit procession at Hogmanay and the Comrie Fortnight in July.
This 1890s converted coach house sleeps 5 across two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ground floor has an open-plan living and dining space with a kitchen equipped for self-catering, plus a utility room with washing machine and a sun room. Upstairs, bedroom one has a zip-and-link super king (or two singles on request) with ensuite shower; bedroom two has the same bed plus a single 3ft bed and access to a bathroom with bath and shower. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. The property is entirely yours, with private parking on site and an enclosed garden featuring patio seating and a barbecue. The River Earn runs along the bottom of the garden, accessible through a gate—fishing can be arranged. No smoking throughout.
Walking and cycling routes crisscross the locality. Watersports are available at nearby St Fillans. If you're driving an electric vehicle, a car park directly opposite has two charging points.
