About Graffham Camping and Caravanning Club Site
Tucked into a sheltered corner of the South Downs National Park near Petworth, Graffham is a well-run Camping and Caravanning Club site that strikes a good balance between peaceful countryside setting and practical touring convenience. The 90-pitch layout caters to tents, caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, with a mix of grass and electric-hook-up pitches including larger bays for bigger units. Facilities are reassuringly modern—clean shower blocks, laundry, dishwashing areas, accessible toilets and a parent-and-baby room—plus there's site-wide Wi-Fi and a small shop stocking essentials.
Dogs are welcome throughout, and the location is ideal for walkers and cyclists, with paths leading straight into the Downs. Petworth, Goodwood, Midhurst and Chichester are all within half an hour's drive. Non-members are welcome, though members pay less. Some visitors note the site can feel a little regimented in layout, but for a well-equipped base in lovely countryside, it's hard to fault.

What visitors say
We have just returned from a wonderful two-night stay in our campervan, and we couldn’t have asked for a more relaxing getaway. The 12:00 PM departure time allowed us to enjoy a slow, stress-free morning before heading home. The Pitches: The campsite layout is exceptional. Instead of an open field, it features individual nooks carved out of the trees, offering amazing privacy and a truly wild-camping feel for your van. The Setting: Nestled in stunning woodlands, we visited while the beautiful rhododendrons were in full bloom, adding vibrant splashes of color around our pitch. Waking up to the sound of birds singing through the canopy was pure bliss. The Atmosphere & Activities: Exceptionally quiet and peaceful. The site offers immediate access to fantastic walking trails right from the grounds, making it perfect for exploring without having to pack up the campervan. The Facilities: Clean, modern, and great facilities overall. The shower blocks and utility areas were immaculate and easily accessible. Local Highlight: A nice off road walk (expect for a tiny stretch) into the village brings you to The Foresters Arms. The staff there were exceptionally friendly, and the pub itself is comfortable and stylish. We spent our lunch in their beautiful, covered outside garden area and had a delicious dinner of fish and chips. An absolute gem of a campsite. It’s dog friendly too, although we didn’t take our two on this trip. We will definitely be returning!

Great little get away. Could do with better connectivity and the pitches re-levelled. But other than that, great place to stay in the woods. Toilets and showers spotless.

Lovely quiet campsite in the forest complete with birdsong including a tawny owl in the evening. Great location for walking and cycling. Visited Petworth, Midhurst, Graffham village (great little cafe and shop) and the three moles pub at Selham by bike or on foot. Staff very friendly and facilities kept clean. Would come again.
