About Tummel Valley Holiday Park

Early risers may discover deer grazing outside their windows at Tummel Valley Holiday Park, near Pitlochry in Perthshire. Buried deep in the Tay Forest Park, this family-friendly retreat combines comfortable, spacious accommodation – including lodges with hot tubs – with spectacular river views and abundant wildlife. Red squirrels scamper through the leafy surrounds, pine martens occasionally make an appearance, and the River Tummel draws plenty of birdlife.

Facilities cater well to all ages: kids' clubs for four to 10-year-olds, a decent-sized indoor pool running toddlers' and watersports sessions, crazy golf, all-weather sports courts, arcade games and an adventure playground. Adults can unwind in the sauna, explore scenic nature trails or fish nearby. The Riverside Bar and Restaurant serves meals on an outdoor patio with stunning views, livening up in the evenings with cabaret, competitions and live music.

Though accommodation occasionally shows signs of wear, the helpful staff and peaceful setting more than compensate. A small shop and launderette cover practicalities.

Lodge was fine, staff were friendly, surroundings were great, very peaceful. Access roads from A9 are a bit of a challenge. Only downside for us was the club house, music was deafening loud and the food was all made from frozen ingredients. It would have been nice to be offered some fresh local didhes

Great location, nice caravan site if a little cramped, unfortunately people used our caravan pitch as an unofficial shortcut, so our privacy was compromised daily which also upset our dog and our stay. Tha facilities are more akin to a Butlins camp whis is ok for families but not if you prefer a quieter / relaxing stay. The Inn at Loch Tummel is wirth a visit booth for the view and the food which was excellent.

We recently stayed at Tummel Valley for four nights, and it was nothing short of fantastic. The caravan was spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. It really felt like a home away from home. The location itself is absolutely stunning — surrounded by beautiful scenery that never gets old. It’s easily one of our favourite places for a short getaway, whether it’s a midweek break or just a couple of nights to unwind. The children had an amazing time as always. They especially loved the entertainment, which kept them engaged and happy throughout our stay. It made the whole experience even more enjoyable for us as a family. Overall, we had a brilliant stay and can’t wait to return again soon. Tummel Valley never disappoints! The only downfall was the TV was small in the caravan but we managed :)

We visited here with family 10yrs ago and we were not disappointed at our return We had a gold caravan in a beautiful spot with a balcony a must if want to absorb the beauty of nature around. I believe this is a owned caravan being let, as it had beautiful homely touches, a wide selection of dvds which was appreciated as there is no wifi and limited TV signal. At first I was disappointed, but I found myself embracing the natural environment and I even purchased bird seed for the bird feeder outside the caravan. I loved watching the different birds and ducks calling every day. Priceless beauty. The caravan was spotless comfortable and spacious we had a wee dog who loved sitting in the sun on the balcony. It was a 3 bedroom with ensuite toilet, spacious little room to be able to push beds together make a double. Kitchen was fully equipped with all your culinary needs. Plenty of cupboards. The caravan was really warm and very hot water And very comfortable seating indoor and on the balcony. A will miss this place with tranquil nature around and plenty of dog walking areas in the woodlands at the back of the park. The facilities are away from the main site which is great as you can embrace the quiet nature. The entertainment bar is lovely with views of the river and a large outside seating area and play area. Dog friendly and lovely staff. A small childrens arcade area and a swimming pool on site.
