What visitors say
We've just returned from a three-night stay at Glengoulandie and had a brilliant time. Fiona and Andy gave us a really warm welcome and were both friendly, helpful and clearly take a lot of pride in the site. We were in a large family tent and had a very generous, well-kept pitch with electric hook-up and our own drinking water tap. There was loads of space around us and the whole site felt peaceful and relaxed, without that cramped holiday-park feel. The setting is lovely. Our pitch looked across the burn towards the hills and the deer field, where we regularly watched a large herd of deer. In the evenings the starlings were flying over the burn as the light dropped, and our daughter loved exploring the burn and building a cairn beside it. The toilets and showers were spotless throughout our stay, with plenty of piping hot water. I had seen a few comments saying the shower cubicles were on the smaller side, and while they are not huge, I managed absolutely fine and found them perfectly usable. There is also a lovely wee coffee shop on site run by Fiona and Andy, with a fire inside for the colder days. It is a really nice addition and fits the relaxed feel of the campsite perfectly. The site stayed wonderfully quiet in the evenings and we enjoyed simply sitting at the tent just as much as using it as a base to explore the area. We would happily return and would definitely recommend Glengoulandie to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic campsite in Highland Perthshire. Thanks again, Fiona and Andy.

A Gem of a place in the Highlands! We recently stayed at Glengoulandie Camping and caravaning in one of their fabulous glamping pods, and we couldn't recommend it more highly! What a treat !!! ❤️ Finding accommodation that comfortably fits two adults and three kids with plenty of space is a rare find on its own—these pods can sleep up to seven, giving everyone plenty of room to breathe. The pod itself was impeccably clean, modern, and completely kitted out with everything we needed for a stress-free family getaway. The location is simply breathtaking, set against gorgeous scenery, and the campsite itself is smart, immaculately maintained, and well laid out. As a family with a dog, finding a place that is genuinely welcoming to pets can be tricky. Our little man Milo is an anxious rescue who is well-behaved but needs a quiet, safe space to truly unwind. Not only did he relax here in no time, but he was in absolute heaven! The nearby enclosed dog field gave him the freedom to roam safely while watching the local red deer or observing the campsite from his favorite little hill with a big smile on his face. What truly makes Glengoulandie special, though, are the hosts, Fiona and Andy. They are wonderfully relaxed, incredibly welcoming, and always on hand to help. There is even a charming little on-site café and cake shop stocked with all the essentials. If you are looking for a stunning, family-friendly, and dog-welcoming escape managed by the nicest hosts you could hope to meet, look no further. As Avid campers with all the tents and gear it was an absolute treat to just turn up here with our bags and enjoy the pods. Our tents are in big trouble. 😂 Thank you so much, Fiona and Andy—we can't wait to come back!

This was our last stop in a Highland round trip, for just one night, I stumbled upon the place by accident and glad that I did. The location is really the most chill with superb views, our son was enjoying the deer park. The facilities were really clean. I would have loved a longer stay with hiking all around, maybe next time!

We stayed at one part of Glengoulandie. It is a very nice, quiet, small camping site. Most of the campers are visitors for one or two nights. Clean accomodations, and well equipped. Beautiful surroundings, with a view on a deer park, and mountains. 40 minutes from Pitlochry. Easy to find. Friendly owners.
