About Cassandra Guest House

Cassandra Guest House starts the day with breakfast served on-site, and keeps guests fed and watered after that too, thanks to a restaurant and bar within the building. It's a compact six-room property on Crescent Avenue in Plymouth, well placed for exploring the city's waterfront and the wider Devon coastline.

Rooms come with air conditioning and free WiFi, and the wider building includes a lift, an indoor swimming pool, and a garden for quieter moments outside. Practical extras run to luggage storage, a laundry service, porter services and childcare, while meeting rooms and wedding facilities mean the house can handle events as well as overnight stays. Free on-site parking is provided, which is a genuine convenience in this part of Plymouth.

Beyond the guest house, Plymouth's historic harbour and Devon's coastline are within easy reach for a day out, with the property itself offering a straightforward, well-equipped base to return to at the end of it.

We stayed for 1 night in a family room (as there were 3 of us) room was spotlessly clean, impressive condiments in the room (tea, coffee biscuits, as well shampoo, conditioner & shower gel). Beds were clean and comfortable and the room temp perfect. The whole house was impeccably clean with modern facilities. We were greeted warmly by Jeff and Judy took our breakfast orders, which was delicious and freshly cooked. Both hosts were friendly, chatty and very approachable and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend staying here on every aspect definitely worth the money.

I booked the Cassandra Guest House for my midweek stay in Plymouth when visiting my son in University. Located a short taxi ride (or ~20 min walk) away from the train station, I found the place clean, well presented, and was met with great warmth by the owners. The room was a good size with an ensuite bathroom. Despite being in the middle of the UK's heatwave, the room wasn't as hot as I feared, even without a fan, and I got a great nights sleep. Plenty to choose from for breakfast, but I opted for a cooked Full English, and it was delicious. The location is excellent. A short walk from the city centre, the Hoe and the Barbican harbour/docks. Everything was within walking distance. I will definitely be staying here on my next visit. Thank you!

Great accommodation. Had a single bed room, but still had an en suite. The bathroom was modern and clean, and the shower was hot and powerful. Comfy bed, warm, good breakfast and friendly owners, in a really good location. Will definitely stay here again if I come back to Plymouth.

I'm so glad to have chosen this place for my 3-night stay, visiting Plymouth for the first time. The staff are very friendly, complimentary breakfast was nice (choice of English breakfast or a vegetarian version), and the location is quite central, between the coast and the town centre. The room was an appropriate size for what I needed, I had no trouble falling asleep, there was a chair and desk available too. I would definitely stay here again if I were to make another trip to Plymouth.
