Crowne Plaza Plymouth

The location of the hotel is great, it’s a 15 minute walk from the station and you’re right on the front. Great views out the front of the hotel and a great park area to explore and enjoy. The only negative was the car park which is located under the hotel, it’s extremely tight but unfortunately not everyone can park properly which makes it difficult for everyone else trying to get round. There is some spaces for larger vehicles that will struggle in the smaller spaces with a lower ceiling which is brilliant but small cars feel obliged to park in them because they are selfish. The hotel doesn’t look anything special from the outside but when you get inside it’s the total opposite. The room was spacious, clean and had everything you need for a stay and the bed was really comfy too. There is facilities here such as a pool with sauna and steam room plus a gym. These are open to the public so aren’t exclusive to hotel guests only. I didn’t use the gym but the pool was big enough that you can still swim even if it’s busy. The restaurant on the top floor is a marco Pierre white, the menu looked great but we didn’t eat here. Breakfast is held in the restaurant so you can enjoy views of the sea and the park while you have breakfast. Excellent hotel and couldn’t fault it at all, the only criticism I have is the car park but this mid more aimed at incompetent drivers than the hotel itself.

Back in Plymouth for one night, visiting some old friends. Never stayed here, never needed to 😂 but now we live away we thought to give it a go. Glad we did. Great hotel, fantastic location. Staff are excellent. Room was great, massive but a small bathroom which is odd. However a very good shower. Breakfast is brilliant, can't fault it at all. Would we use it again, yes indeed.

With 3 children 1, 5 and 8. Very short walk to the seafront. Big beds, cot bed here upon arrival as requested, didnt have a bath in this room 719. Good air-conditioning, and very clean. Requested to be on upper floors and near the lift, which was exactly what we got.

Very nice stay here, booked mainly for the very large room and swimming pool (however pool was a bit too busy to use as it's quite small). Comfy beds, great breakfast, convenient location for the Hoe. Good check out time - 11am, could be extended if we had wanted to. Not very impressed with check in at 3pm as was given hope that the room would be ready earlier (the 2 people in front of us got their rooms early). However it does state 3pm and there is a secure luggage room to drop things off, so it is what it is. A pleasant, comfy and good value stay. I'd probably give it a 4.5 if you could have half points.
