About The Three Crowns B&B

Plymouth's waterfront and coastal paths are within easy reach of The Three Crowns B&B on Parade, and there's plenty to fill the days beyond it, from watersports and fishing to a nearby golf course and stretches of walking and cycling country. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are dotted around the area too, so evenings out don't require much planning.

The B&B itself is built around a lively pub, with a restaurant, bar and outdoor seating, plus live music that keeps the atmosphere busy rather than sleepy. The kitchen turns out generous roasts and sandwiches alongside a solid range of beers and drinks, and breakfast is included to set guests up for the day. Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks available in-room, and family rooms for those travelling with children; some also have sea views.

Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though service can be a little slow at busier times. Reception operates around the clock, which suits guests coming and going at odd hours, but there's no parking on site, so those arriving by car will need to make separate arrangements nearby.

Review Bro

We stopped in at The Three Crowns while exploring the Barbican and were really glad we did. Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and a proper old pub with loads of character. The food was excellent, with generous portions and everything was cooked really well. We also had a couple of drinks and it was the perfect place to sit and relax after walking around the waterfront. If you're in Plymouth and fancy a traditional pub with good food and a welcoming feel, it's definitely worth a visit.

Phenomal service right as we arrived, lovely views and staff. Location is perfect and will be 1000% staying here again. Breakfast was outstanding and easy location. Just wish they could help with price of parking that's my only issue.

Great accommodation in an excellent location, right in the centre of Plymouth Old Town harbour area. One of the best pub accommodation places we have ever stayed in. Room and bathroom were modern, clean and had everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. The staff were great - very friendly and helpful. We would have happily stayed for more than the one night if our schedule had allowed.
