About Travelodge Plymouth

Travelodge Plymouth suits anyone after a straightforward, affordable stay rather than a fuss-free luxury break - ferry passengers catching an early crossing, visitors passing through for a night or two, or families keeping an eye on the budget. Set on Derrys Cross, it puts both the city centre and the ferry terminal within easy reach.

The hotel has 96 rooms across five floors, each with an en-suite bathroom and drinks available in the room, plus accessible rooms for those who need them. A lift serves all floors, and reception is staffed around the clock. There's an on-site restaurant for meals without having to venture out, and pets are welcome for travellers on the road with animals in tow. Parking is available nearby on a chargeable basis, with the open-air Athenaeum Car Park the closest option.

Fishing, pubs and bars, and entertainment can all be found in the surrounding area, making it a workable base for exploring Plymouth. Rooms are kept clean and staff are generally helpful, though some guests have found rooms can pick up noise from outside or neighbouring rooms, and service standards aren't always consistent. For the price, it remains a practical option for a no-frills stay in the city.

The hotel is amazing. My stay was payed for by a charity as I am sleeping rough. Everything is fine here but I would advise against booking if you do not want to give a scummy company money that will attempt to charge you for Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi is NOT FREE!!!! I would personally advise against booking until they change this! Screw that!

I stayed here a year ago. When iarrived for early booking in, the room was ready. It is the same room as last year. The room is an assessible room with plenty of room for my wheelchair and luggage. A lovely double bed which is comfortable. It's a bath so you have to try and climb over the side to access the shower - difficult but not impossible. There is a seat that helps you to have a seated shower. All in all good value and perfect for a weekend away. .

There's no air conditioning, the windows are closed and can only be opened slightly. The rooms are extremely hot. I asked for a fan and I'm still waiting for it to arrive. I will never book a room here again.
