Wareham Forest Tourist Park

So brilliant we came back a week later! You've got to love it. From the off this site is utterly well organised. Staff go out of their way to help and there's always plenty about to ask. They've even got mobile charging lockers for non electric campers. Onsite licensed shop a massive bonus as no shops for quite a way. Pool is really big for a campsite, heated and spaciously well laid out with brollies and picnic tables and shade! Pitches are very spacious. All the grounds are really well manicured. Toilet blocks immaculate. There's everything here, including a huge amazing forest path network. It just feels so spacious. Food truck each night. In our experience generally very respectful clientel too. What's not to like?

We are a family of 4 adults and 1 cockapoo, we have just returned from a wonderful 10 day stay at this campsite. As you enter the site from the main road you immediately know it's going to be nice. The open spaces are immaculate, lawns mowed in stripes, gorgeous flower pots everywhere you look and exciting forest walks surround the site. We were greeted at reception by a friendly face, as it was our first time at this site, everything was fully explained, then we headed off to our pitch, and what a glorious pitch it was. We booked a standard pitch, but it was far more spacious than any pitch we had stayed on at club sites or anywhere to be fair. We had requested a sunny pitch with a grass area, and that's exactly what we got. Once set up, we explored the site, the forest walks were plentiful, the green areas so pretty. We viewed the pool area and were so excited to spend the next day around the pool with our 2 sons. Our dog was allowed in as long as she stayed on the grass area. There are plenty of picnic benches and umbrellas around the pool, we took our own chairs which is also permitted. We were fortunate with the weather during our stay and being around the pool and the site definitely gave vibes of being in France. The shower block was immaculate, smaller cubicles than we are used to, but perfectly adequate. The staff on this site are friendly and helpful. The food vans are plentiful, we especially enjoyed Pizza night. There is also a fantastic Indian restaurant and Chip shop a short distance away. We can definitely recommend this site, and we will 100% be returning next year. Thank you for a lovely restful stay.

Lovely site right next to Forest walks and beyond. Spotlessly clean facilities and well maintained. Staff really friendly and helpful. Free hot showers. The only negative thing I'd say is the WiFi wasn't great. I wonder if people had their own hotspots etc, which interfered with the signal even though the site asks people not to use them for that very reason.

My partner & myself took a little new year break to this gorgeous place! It was quiet & peaceful just what we were looking for. I can’t rate this place highly enough! There was plenty of room on our pitch (we took our caravan) with electric hook up. The facilities were spotless, showers were hot & powerful. There are washing machines & dryers, even ironing boards. Plenty of places to get water and to depose of your chemical waste. They had a little shop onsite which was very well stocked we even purchased a local gin which was very tasty. The tourist park was a 5-10 minute drive from Wareham itself. We ordered a local takeaway which arrived in a timely fashion, he rang us whilst on route to double check our location. My partner met him at the barrier. We were so impressed that we are considering returning in the warmer weather just so we can try out the heated outdoor pool! As we only had 3 nights we throughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to return!! Fabulous place for families or couples even dogs! Highly recommended! a must visit if you like that area of England
