Acre Luxury Lodges - Offa’s Dyke Lodge
Powys
View on Google MapsHay-on-Wye's bookshops and Hergest Croft Gardens are within reach, as are the walking routes that crisscross this part of the Welsh border. Kington, a couple of miles away, has pubs, restaurants and a small animal park. Offa's Dyke Lodge itself sits on a working sheep and cattle farm at height, so the valley views come as standard. The lodge is single-storey, set back from the parking area—there's an uphill walk and a few steps to the entrance, but once inside, everything is on one level.
Three bedrooms sleep up to six: two doubles and a twin, served by a single bathroom with bath and shower. The open-plan living space has a woodburner, Netflix-enabled smart TV and patio doors opening to a decking area where the private six-person hot tub sits. The kitchen is equipped for proper cooking—gas cooker, dishwasher, microwave—and there's a separate games room for rainy days. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and the initial logs for the woodburner are provided, along with heating from an air source system. One dog is welcome here, though the farm is sheep country so dogs need to stay on a lead.
The property is private to you, with parking for three cars on site. No smoking indoors.
