Conker

Conker is a single sleeping pod set high on a Powys hillside, designed for two people who want isolation without hardship. The entire structure is yours alone, with parking for one car on site. Inside, a sofa bed sits within an open-plan arrangement that combines living and kitchen space; the induction hob lets you cook properly, and a Bluetooth speaker and electric points mean you're not entirely cut off if you need them. Bed linen and towels arrive with you, and the essentials—electricity and heating—are included.

What makes Conker distinctive is the outdoor setup. You get a wood-fired pizza oven and fire pit in the garden, with initial logs provided. There's an external shower and a wood-fired copper bath, along with a compost toilet, so bathing becomes part of the landscape rather than hidden away. The pod itself is fully insulated with underfloor heating to manage the exposed hilltop location through the year. One dog can stay free. The property is non-smoking, and you'll find garden furniture and a welcome pack on arrival.
