Podiau Efyrnwy Pods - Cae Bitfel is a single-bedroom pod on the ground floor, sleeping up to 4 guests with a double bed and sofa bed. Everything you need for self-catering is supplied: electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with a welcome pack on arrival. The kitchen is fitted to cook proper meals rather than just snacks, with an electric hob, combined microwave and oven, and fridge. A shower room with heated towel rail completes the interior.

The pod sits in a meadow outside Llanwddyn, about 20 miles south-west of Oswestry. You get your own parking space, and there is a bike store on site. One pet stays free. The grounds have a sitting area with garden furniture and a shared gas barbecue. Lake Vyrnwy lies close by, along with the 24,000-acre RSPB Reserve where the lake itself, a Victorian dam from the 1880s, is surrounded by walking trails, bird hides and viewpoints. The lake also has boating and cycle hire. Oswestry's independent shops and cafés are within reach for a day out. The property has a natural water supply from a borehole. No smoking is permitted.
