Tank Barn

Tank Barn is a converted agricultural building on the Leighton Estate near Welshpool, with the solid character of a listed structure reimagined for comfort. The open-plan ground floor combines kitchen, dining and living spaces under a double-height ceiling, with patio doors opening onto a terrace. Upstairs, a galleried landing leads to the second bedroom. Two bedrooms sleep four; the first has a zip-and-link bed that converts to singles on request, the second a fixed superking. One bathroom with shower serves both floors.

The kitchen is comprehensively equipped for cooking—oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine mean you can prepare proper meals and manage laundry. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating via air source heat pump are all included. Outside, an enclosed garden, patio and sitting areas have furniture; parking is for two cars on site. One pet is welcome. The location suits walkers and cyclists, with Offa's Dyke Path within reach and rural trails across the surrounding landscape. Welshpool town centre is a short drive away. The property is non-smoking.
