The Cabin Cefn Mawr is a single-storey detached lodge built for comfort and ease. Everything happens on the ground floor: an open-plan living area with an electric wood-burner, a dining space, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking. Two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—share a shower room with a walk-in enclosure. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included, and one well-behaved pet stays free.
The property overlooks open countryside and sits within reach of Newtown. Outside, decking runs along the back, with a lawned garden to the front, garden furniture, a barbecue, and parking for two cars. The setting suits families, couples or friends after a quiet break. No smoking indoors.

Thank you for such a relaxing stay! A lovely home from home with everything you need. Very nice welcome hamper left for us. The terrace has the most amazing view, the best of anywhere we’ve stayed, and the hot tub was great, surrounded by the sounds of nature. Close to town to get shopping and go for a nice river walk. We will definitely be back! Xx

Beautiful week in wales. We stayed here all week and even through all our activities was 2 hours drive away we still wanted to choose this cabin. We love coming back here every night and waking up to the sound of the nature all around us. We had a lovely welcome basket with bread, butter, milk and some welsh scottcakes. Everything you needed was there. We cooked our breakfasts every morning and evening meal. Air fryer, cooker and all pots and pans you could ever needed. It was beautiful we did speak to the owner and she was lovely, always happy to help with anything we needed. The peacocks was beautiful 🦚 along with all the rest of the neture we seen. 100% will be back. Like i said we travel 2 hours out each morning to do different activities so 4 hours a day and i wouldn't want to go anywhere else. It was lovely ❤️ P.s I hope you liked the flowers and the card. ❤️

What a beautiful location, a lovely cabin, and a great base from which to explore. Fully kitted out with everything you need to cook, clean, and stay entertained, we arrived this evening to find a lovely welcome basket containing bread, eggs, butter and welshcakes. Plenty of firewood for the sizeable Hunter stove. Spotlessly clean, furnished with enough towels, blankets, and cushions to make it feel like home and with all the amenities you could want, including an air fryer, oven, fridge freezer, and all the cooking apparatus you could want. A cheerful welcome from the host who arrived to the home next door as I unloaded. I shall enjoy a small glass on the decked area shortly and take in the night air and the sounds of the stunning Welsh hills. An absolute gem

So tranquil. If you are looking to wind down and escape the rat race then this is the place to come. Plus the views are magnificent.
