Lovely site. Really friendly staff. I arrived and was greeted pleasantly. There is a resident food van on site that makes delicious pizzas, burgers, fries, etc. A communal bar with lots of choices of drinks and a fantastic ice cream and milkshake bar that was reasonably priced and yummy! The site was clean and the bathrooms were always well stocked My son also had a lovely experience at the fishing. On the Friday night in the marquee they had the world cup on a large projector and the Saturday night there was an acoustic guitarist. Would definitely recommend for a great weekend.

Stayed one night in the July heat wave. It's a fabulous site with plenty of toilets and fresh water between the huge pitches. Reception/bar staff were fabulous. There is large gazebo bar with outdoor seating and a food stall. Doing Burgers Hot Dogs and the Pizzas were delicious. We will definitely be back with the campervan.

Had a really bad experience, loud music and campers with no consideration for others. Officially meant to quiet from 11pm onwards, but loud dance music and party both nights until 4am. Owner said he'd speak to the noisy campers, don't know if he did, but nothing changed. Also strong smell of cannabis from other tents. Dogs not kept on leads, people driving across the camp site very fast, basically nobody stuck to any of the requests. For the money of the pitch didn't expect to have to pay for showers!! If you want a quiet, child friendly camp site where the owner actually takes charge, then find somewhere else. If you want a mini Glastonbury this is the place for you. Update: Following on from the comments of the owner, I can only think you went to the wrong field to talk to the residents, as we were again disturbed for most of Saturday night. My husband walked over to talk to them at gone 11pm on the Saturday night, asking when they would be quiet as it was passed the 11pm watershed for loud noise and he really needed some sleep. They were dismissive of his request and kept their music playing.

Came because of all the good reviews... We weren't impressed. Very few bins around, not even by sinks or toilets. Showers were really gross. Toilets were worse, stuff smeared all over the seats. Didn't realize until too late that showers were 50p, and our first attempt to use the shower, it ate our coin and didn't work. Reception opens at 10:00am, before then you're on your own with any problems. Big field with space for kids to play, but apart from that can't recommend.
