About Haighton Manor - Brunning and Price

Haighton Green Lane winds through open Lancashire countryside on the edge of Preston, and it's along this quiet stretch that Haighton Manor sits, with gardens and outdoor seating making the most of the rural setting. The manor's history is evident in its character, while an open fire in the bar adds warmth to the atmosphere, particularly in the colder months.

Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and are suited to families as well as couples, with drinks available in room and free WiFi throughout. Downstairs, the restaurant and bar are the real draw, serving breakfast and a full menu that includes well-regarded gluten-free choices such as pies and fish and chips. Staff are attentive and the service consistently friendly. Meeting rooms are also available for those combining a stay with business.

Outside, guests can make use of the picnic area and garden views, while golf and fishing are both within easy reach for those wanting to fill the day. Free on-site parking and 24-hour reception make arrival and departure straightforward, whatever time you're travelling.

Absolutely lovely restaurant! The food was amazing, staff were excellent and the restaurant was beautiful. I can't believe I've never been before until last night. I will definitely be returning.

Had a lovely meal with my cousin and her husband. They were part way through a long journey home and I arranged to meet them at Haighton Manor as it worked for us all. The menu enabled them to have something light to eat in a relaxed setting. My steak sandwich was yummy, and they had a starter each which they enjoyed. They also really liked the hot drink and mini dessert option. Food here is always good and high quality and the service was attentive without being overbearing.

Visited here for the first time today for a birthday lunch. A beautiful place. Very busy too for a week day. We booked in advance and pleased that we had. On arrival, we were welcomed by friendly bar staff and shown straight to our table, offered a variety of menu's and drinks order was taken. Table service was efficient by tentative staff. We didn't wait long for our food to be served. Freshly made, cooked to perfection and extremely tasty, I could not fault my dish. Desserts were equally delicious and when ordering a smaller portion, this was accompanied with a hot drink of our choice. The pub itself has a very relaxing and warm atmosphere. The decor is traditional with open log fire burning in the center. Dogs are welcome and there is also accommodation for overnight stays. Outside is a large car parking facility with tended gardens and despite being in the open countryside, Haighton Manor is within a short driving distance to Preston city centre and motorway networks M6/M55. I would most certainly recommend this pub & although meals were perhaps a little on the pricey side, the food was worth every penny.
