What visitors say
Really like the peace campsite and proximity to the pretty town. Very helpful and friendly owner. No toilets but we had our own, so no problem.

A lovely flat grass CL site, a very friendly and welcoming owner. Access to the site was easy, also not too many miles from the motorway network. Directly outside the site were regular buses in both directions to Oxford and Aylesbury. A short walk into the lovely town of Thame, with it's many pubs and restaurants. Will definitely return again soon, there's so much to do in the area.

A great site. We stayed for three nights in April 2026 and came away thoroughly impressed. The site is easy to find, located just off the Thame ring road, and we were given a warm welcome by the owner. It’s secure, with entry via a key fob. The site has an edge of town position beside the River Thame, with views of fields. Much of the site was sunny during our stay, and the pitches were spread out. There was electric and water to each pitch. (I love having water to my pitch!) Chickens roamed around the site and sometimes under our caravan which was amusing. Thame High Street is only a seven-minute walk away, making it easy to pick up provisions or visit a pub or restaurant. It’s nice to have the option to walk or drive. The High Street has lots of shops including a couple of supermarkets. There’s a pretty water meadow nearby, which was the destination for our morning dog walk, and the dog also got a daily swim in the river. Oxford Caravans is a mere ten minute drive away -I couldn’t resist popping over for a browse. I know nearby is Oxford and some National Trust properties, but I just wanted to walk, cycle and chill. A National Cycle Route runs alongside Thame. It is a safe ride to Princes Risborough along a former railway line. I preferred cycling along some of the quiet village roads between Thame and Oxford as there are fewer joggers wearing headphones. We plan to return and stay longer next time.

Stayed at Lashlake Barn for 3 nights in early June, a real hidden gem in a quiet riverside location. John, the site owner was very friendly and welcoming from start to finish, thank you, we will definitely be back.
