About The Lodge Hotel
Upper Richmond Road runs through the heart of Putney, and it's here that The Lodge Hotel makes its base, close enough to the district's shops and river life while offering something increasingly hard to find nearby: free on-site parking. The area around Putney has open green spaces further afield, including Windsor Great Park, giving guests with a car easy scope to explore beyond London itself.
The hotel has 73 rooms, with air conditioning and drinks available in-room, and the wider building includes a restaurant and bar for meals without needing to head out, plus breakfast served on site. Guests can make use of a gym, spa and sauna, and an indoor swimming pool, useful whatever the weather is doing outside. A garden offers a quieter spot to sit, and the hotel also functions as a wedding venue for those planning an event.
Practical touches run throughout: a lift, luggage storage, porter and concierge services, free WiFi, and a pet-friendly policy for guests travelling with animals. Putney itself sits a short distance away, making this a straightforward base for visiting that part of London by car or on foot.
