What diners say
A fantastic restaurant and hidden gem in Putney. Excellent food and very good wine. The food was well presented and delicious. The owner and staff are attentive, knowledgeable and passionate about their cuisine and the local wines. We were well taken care of and they even adapted a dish for my preferences, which was excellent. The prices are relatively high - certainly locally, but not especially for London. However, for that you get great quality and knowledgeable, passionate service - worth the cost. This is not a casual and cheap local restaurant. And the costs hospitality faces now make this all the more understandable.

Nice atmosphere and a cosy, intimate setting with only a few tables. The waitress was friendly and welcoming throughout our visit. Unfortunately, we felt the experience did not quite match the prices. The burrata starter (£19) was much smaller than expected, and while the presentation was attractive, the portions overall were very limited. We ordered ravioli and malloreddus (£25 each); the food was decent, but not memorable enough to justify the cost, and we were still hungry when we left. Service was polite but quite slow at times. We had to wait to place our order because only the owner could take it, and later we also had to ask more than once for the bill. As Italians, we were hoping for a more traditional Sardinian dining experience and expected a little more authenticity and value for money. For £89 between two people, with a shared starter, two pasta dishes, water, and a small basket of carasau bread/focaccia, we expected a more satisfying experience. Perhaps we visited on an off day, but based on our experience we expected more for the price paid.

One of my favourite restaurants in London, with such a great atmosphere and vibe, and really good service too. It is quite expensive, so it’s definitely a treat, but it’s worth it. The food is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend it and the seafood plater!
