What diners say

George was a good waiter - polite, friendly and helpful. The initial wait to get someone’s attention was a bit longer than expected. The food was good - well-prepared ingredients done well. Atmosphere was OK. Mostly guests, not much of a vibe, but relaxed and location by the river is nice.

Coppa Club Putney is a stylish and welcoming spot that perfectly balances relaxed dining with a polished, modern atmosphere. Located close to the river and Putney High Street, it’s an ideal place for anything from a casual brunch to an evening dinner with friends or colleagues. The interior design is one of its strongest features: warm lighting, comfortable seating, and elegant décor create a space that feels both cosy and sophisticated without being pretentious. The menu offers a wide range of options that cater to different tastes and dietary preferences. Brunch is particularly popular, with well-presented dishes such as avocado on sourdough, eggs cooked to perfection, and high-quality coffee that makes it a great weekend destination. For lunch and dinner, the menu includes fresh salads, well-seasoned meats, and flavourful vegetarian choices. While prices are slightly on the higher side, the quality of ingredients and presentation generally justify the cost. Service at Coppa Club Putney is usually friendly and professional. Staff members are attentive without being intrusive, and they handle busy periods efficiently, which is impressive given how crowded the venue can get, especially during peak hours. The bar area is also worth mentioning, offering a good selection of cocktails, wines, and non-alcoholic options. Overall, Coppa Club Putney is a reliable and enjoyable choice for those looking for good food, a pleasant atmosphere, and a versatile dining experience. It’s a place you can return to confidently, whether for a relaxed coffee or a more social evening out.

Handmade heaven

We visited this restaurant on Sunday morning (11th January) for breakfast to celebrate my birthday. When booking, my partner mentioned in the notes that it was a special occasion. The restaurant is beautifully decorated, modern, elegant, and with a very pleasant, welcoming atmosphere. We were greeted politely by the front of house staff and were allowed to choose our table, which we appreciated. The restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday morning. Unfortunately, the service was slower than expected. Our drinks took quite a while to arrive, including water, and at one point we wondered if the order had been missed. Given how few people were there, we were expecting a quicker and smoother service. We ordered an English breakfast and pancakes with mascarpone, kefir and berry compote. While the English breakfast was fine, the pancakes were disappointing: they were very dark underneath, quite hard, and difficult to cut, which made them less enjoyable than expected. Once we asked for the bill, service became very quick and efficient, which was appreciated. However, overall we felt that the experience didn’t quite match the expectations set by the lovely setting and the price. We spent around £40, which didn’t feel fully justified. It’s a nice-looking place, but sadly our breakfast didn’t live up to what we had hoped for on a special occasion.

We had a wonderful dining experience, made even more special by our waitress, Rebecca. From the moment we arrived, she was warm, friendly, and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble, and she consistently went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for us. Rebecca’s excellent customer service, attention to detail, and genuine kindness really stood out. She checked in regularly, made great recommendations, and created such a welcoming atmosphere throughout our visit. It’s rare to come across someone so dedicated to providing outstanding service, and Rebecca truly made our experience memorable. A huge thank you to her for making our visit so enjoyable. We will definitely be returning and hope to be served by her again!
