What diners say
We popped in for a quick Indian dinner before the Fulham game and were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good. Although lassi and cocktails were listed on the menu, they weren’t available when we visited. However, the quality of the dishes more than made up for it. The biryani and butter chicken were especially delicious.

I don’t do reviews. But I love curry and live locally. My experience was so bad that I have to warn anyone. I often can’t be bothered to comment but this offering at £30 was so bad I felt I had no choice but to warn people. I love curry. I have one weekly usually on Sundays. So seeing this place open up was welcome newcomer to the neighbourhood. Avoid this place like the plague. Lovely staff. Honestly they are very kind and friendly. In ordered food at the venue a couple hours ago. I live literally 3 minutes away and flet it so bad I walked over to let them Know how bad my experience was. Ignorant unfortunately. Bless them. They took my comments and apologised. This is a chinese pretending to be an Indian. Food is absolutely inexcusably bad. Not an Indian at all. Avoid this establishment like the plague. Nothing good at all.l and Junk food at best. So disappointed by the entire experience. Let me save you some money. This place is an utter disgrace. The samosas are just frozen and then deep Fat fried. The Tarka Dahl (my favourite is basically just a metal dish of oil). I dont know what more i can say aside the fact that i was excited by a new local indian opening near my house. I cannot warn people enough about how BAD this place is. It is the farthest thing from an Indian restaurant as i can I imagine. Truly horrific experience!

Masala Odyssey delivered one of the most sumptuous and delicious Indian meals I've ever had. From the very first bite, it was clear that every dish had been prepared with incredible care, skill, and a real passion for flavour. The food was absolutely sublime — rich, vibrant, and bursting with authentic spices and aromas that transported us straight to the heart of India. Every dish had its own unique character, yet they all came together perfectly for a truly memorable meal. Even though we ordered in, the quality was exceptional — the food arrived piping hot, beautifully presented, and tasting as if it had just come straight from the kitchen to our table. Masala Odyssey isn't just a meal, it's a full experience — a real journey of flavours. I can't wait to order again and explore even more of their wonderful menu. Highly, highly recommended!

Deeply Disappointing: A Kitchen That Needs to Take Quality Seriously (Deliveroo order) As someone who genuinely loves and embraces all types of cuisine — from street food to fine dining — I don’t write negative reviews lightly. But after my recent order, I feel a responsibility to be honest: do not eat here. I ordered two dishes, and both fell significantly short of even the most basic standards. Chicken Tikka Masala The moment this dish arrived, it was visually telling. A thick, greasy layer of oil sat on top of the curry — not the rich, aromatic kind you’d expect from a well-crafted masala, but the kind that signals corners have been cut. The smell confirmed it. Beyond the oil, the chicken itself was sparse — tiny, underwhelming pieces scattered throughout — and the flavour was shockingly bland. A tikka masala should be bold, warming and complex. This was none of those things. Lamb Biryani To their credit, the restaurant offered a 2-for-1 deal on the biryani. But I’ll be honest — I have no desire to eat the second one. The rice was sticky and completely flavourless, topped with burnt onions that added bitterness rather than depth. The lamb pieces were small and greasy, offering little in the way of taste or texture. What made matters worse was the raita served alongside it — it carried a strong, sharp bitter odour that immediately raised concerns about freshness. There was no way I was going to risk eating it. A biryani is typically served with a curry or gravy on the side to bring the dish together. None was provided, leaving an already underwhelming plate feeling incomplete and careless. Final Thoughts I appreciate that restaurants work hard, and I always try to give the benefit of the doubt. But what was served to me that evening was well below acceptable — not just in taste, but in food safety. To whoever is responsible in that kitchen: please take the quality of your food seriously. Your customers deserve better, and frankly, so does the cuisine you’re attempting to represent. This review is not written out of spite — it’s written in the hope that things genuinely improve. (Note: I have rated Service and Atmosphere 1 Star but I do not know since I never visited the restaurant. My experience was having it as a takeout dinner )
