Ingliston Country Club & Hotel - Lodge 4
Renfrewshire
View on Google MapsLodge 4 is a two-bedroom ground-floor cottage at Ingliston Country Club & Hotel, a working equestrian estate near Bishopton in Renfrewshire. The whole lodge is yours alone, sleeping up to four guests across a king bed in one room and two singles in the other, with two bathrooms. Everything sits on one level: an open-plan living and dining area with a smart TV and electric fire, a kitchen with an air fryer and coffee machine, and enough space to spread out without feeling cramped.
Being part of the country club means you're footsteps from Palomino's Restaurant—where you can watch horses and riders in the arena from your table—and from the hotel's other facilities and grounds. The lodge comes with WiFi, parking on site (with an electric car charging point), and all linen and towels provided. A sitting area outside gives you somewhere to be outside, though it's shared with the hotel. Heating and electricity are included in your stay. The setting suits people who want easy access to good food and a relaxed rural atmosphere without driving elsewhere for dinner, or families after a countryside base that doesn't require cooking every night. No smoking inside.

Ingliston country club is beautiful but I wish they would sort the phone lines, Click link on website, takes you to welcome recording for country club and you get 6 options depending on who you need to talk too, all good so far, Then it goes downhill, press option 1 for Palamino restaurant, then nothing, silence, 2nd time tried, nothing, 3rd time eventually got a recording can't connect try later, Redialed, try a different option, pressed option 6 for anything else, silence followed by cannot connect you try later, Redialed trying option 1, 3, again option 4, All the same, cannot connect try later. You get the greeting message and once options offered doesn't matter which option I try don't get any further. Have detailed this incase want to show engineer to check problem, I can't even phone you to report problem. How can any business get by with this happening, I reported this in person few months ago to staff, still the same. Please fix your phone lines is there a glitch in your system?

Very disappointed with this restaurant. They charged us £10 per person, including the children, for cancelling our booking, even though I phoned four hours in advance to explain that my partner's flight had been delayed and we wouldn't be able to make it. I understand cancellation policies, but this felt unfair given the circumstances and the notice we provided. Unfortunately, because of the way this situation was handled, we won't be visiting this place again.

Really good stay. Here in June and not particularly warm but room a bit hot over night. Fan supplied but no aircon which might be an issue for summer visitors. On plus side rooms really nice and well equiped. On negative side the afformentioned lack of aircon and our room had unreliable wifi.

Nice weekend away in a relaxing location. Good sized rooms and comfortable beds. Friendly staff. Clean hotel. Only issue we had is that they failed to honour our booking at the price agreed at booking. I normally wouldn't have a problem with this (I understand mistakes happen) but contacts us 1 year after making the booking and 1 week before the stay to inform us of this error is unacceptable. Definitely needs to improve their customer service. Nice hotel though, modern, clean and nice facilities.
