About Strawberry House
Richmond's streets slope down towards the River Swale, with the Yorkshire Dales National Park spreading out beyond the town, and it's on Maison Dieu that Strawberry House makes its home. Richmond Castle is close by, so the B&B suits anyone keen to explore the town on foot before heading further into the Dales for walking or cycling.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms, drinks provided, and breakfast included, with a packed lunch available for those setting off on longer days out. There's a garden with outdoor seating for guests who want to sit outside, and garden views from parts of the property. Free WiFi, luggage storage and a 24 hour reception cover the practical side, along with a laundry service.
Free on-site parking is provided, which makes it a straightforward base for driving out into the Dales or simply leaving the car while wandering Richmond itself. Pubs, restaurants and other eateries are all within easy reach nearby, along with entertainment options, so evenings don't require much planning once you've settled in.
