The kitchen-diner runs alongside, equipped for proper cooking: electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave. A utility room handles laundry. One bathroom with bath and walk-in shower serves the two bedrooms: a super-kingsize with its own Smart TV, and a twin room.
Tucked into an elevated position five minutes' walk from Richmond town centre, the cottage sits above the market town itself, looking toward the castle and river. The enclosed back garden has sitting-out space with furniture. Parking for one car is private. Essentials—heating, electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels—are included. One dog stays free. The property is entirely yours: no shared spaces, no other guests. Smoking is not permitted. A travel cot and highchair are available if needed.

Lovely upside down cottage with great views of Richmond Castle. Close to the town centre amenities. We had no problem parking for free on Frenchgate, a beautiful Georgian street. Sarah dealt with a query we had promptly - the smart tv was too smart for us lol. Would stay again

Just had a wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. It is exceptionally clean, modern, and comfortable, and came fully equipped with every amenity we needed during our trip. The location is absolutely fantastic—situated just moments from the town centre and within easy walking distance of everything. We also appreciated that parking outside was readily available when we arrived at 6:00 pm. We highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful cottage , lovely decor , comfortable bed and nice crisp cotton bedding. So peaceful and quiet for a really relaxing stay. Sarah the host is really helpful and friendly and available via text or phone should you have any queries. Frenchgate Mews is a delightful little property with all the modern appliances and comforts you could wish for. No hesitation in recommending it for a truly great break in beautiful Richmond.

Gorgeous little cottage in the centre of Richmond. Loved the style and interior of the whole cottage-really beautifully done. Lovely little treats left in the fridge too. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Thank you
