The Cottage at Peers Clough Farm
Rossendale
View on Google MapsRossendale Valley sits between the moorlands of the southern Pennines, where walking trails crisscross the hills and the East Lancashire Railway runs heritage steam trains through the landscape. The Cottage at Peers Clough Farm stands on a working farm in this rural setting, offering a private base for a week away. It sleeps six across two bedrooms: the first has a kingsize and single bed, the second a double and single. Upstairs you'll also find a bathroom with both bath and shower.
The ground floor holds a living room with TV and Freesat, plus a kitchen with electric cooker and washing machine. One guest toilet sits separately. Electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included in the rent. The property has its own parking for three cars and a garden with seating; note that the front garden is shared with the farm owner. One dog or cat can stay free of charge. There's a bike store if you're planning to cycle the valley, and a cot and highchair available if needed. The cottage draws water from a borehole.
