Kiln Cottage

Kiln Cottage comes with everything you need to settle in straight away. The kitchen has a gas cooker, microwave and fridge-freezer; there's a washing machine for longer stays (by arrangement); heating is gas central; and electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included. A welcome pack arrives with you, and if you're bringing a dog, treats and extras are provided too. Parking for one car is on site.

The cottage layout is compact and efficient: downstairs holds an open-plan living space with a Freeview TV and electric woodburner, plus a dining area and shower room with cubicle; upstairs is a double bedroom with a z-bed for flexible sleeping. A terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue looks out over the garden. No smoking inside, but one dog stays free.

Rye town centre is a fifteen-minute walk away—close enough to reach pubs, restaurants and cafes easily, and to explore the medieval streets that have drawn writers and artists for generations. The Mermaid Inn, the Rye Museum and St Mary's Tower are all within reach on foot. Rye Harbour Nature Reserve lies to the east, and Camber Sands and Hastings are short drives south and west.
