We had such a wonderful stay at Stonepit Meadows for a weekend with friends. It is such a peaceful and idyllic countryside location with a beautiful wild flower meadow and even a swimming pond. The bell tents were really thoughtfully kitted out with proper beds that were very comfortable and all the equipment you could possibly need - water canister, crockery, fire lighting kit. There was even an electrical plug and tap at each tent. The showers and toilets are in excellent nick. Would definitely visit again.

My three year old daughter and I had the most wonderful weekend camping at Stone Pit Meadows. It was the perfect campsite for our little adventure and her first time camping. The self-pitches are really nicely spaced out and feel really private. The whole site is so quiet and peaceful, and the views across the wildflower meadow are stunning. The toilets, showers and wash up area were very good, clean and well stocked. We definitely hope to visit again.

We had such a lovely stay camping here. We were very lucky as it was very quiet as nearly the end of the holidays. Birds of prey flying overhead, a Barn owl flying across the meadow and my son even saw a fox on the last day. Lovely, beautiful location. I liked the Faith in Nature toiletries, facilities were clean. Quite a few good National Trust properties in the vicinity and some lovely farm shops with cafes. If fishing is your thing then that can be found not too far away and my teenage son enjoyed the bike tracks at Bedgebury which is also lovely to walk around.

A beautiful campsite… generous spaces between pitches. Great shower/toilet facilities. The swimming pond is a plus as long as the plant life is maintained. A great mix of accommodation, huts, bell tents and self pitches in a peaceful location. All in easy reach to the Kent, East Sussex countryside.
