Perfect place for learning or practising wakeboard, make sure you book the beginner session with lower speed of cable to start with (25km instead of 30km). Compact and fun aqua park for kids. The restaurant near the lake has good food and beer which makes the place pleasant also for people that just hang around. Kids friendly. Free carpark. We stayed at the caravan site. The facilities are good. Walking distance to Sandwich town center.

Fantastic breakfast at the café (best in the area by far) and friendly service too. The free parking is very helpful and early opening from 8am is a bonus. I would recommend the Special Breakfast, which will keep you going all day!

We only went here for Sunday lunch, did not stay or use the Aqua park, but we had heard good reviews. Well, it's definitely a recommendation. The food was incredible. Really delicious and lots of it. The puddings were huge and so worth it. The service was great and the location is good. This is a place to visit when the sun is shining as you can watch the people go on the Aqua park. 100% recommend trying.

What an amazing place, we are into our wakeboarding so a great facility, they host open water swimming, the fun aqua park for all ages, even if you arent into watersports and water based activities, it is a great place to stay as they have lodges that are really nice and always booked up, and the camping facilities are great as well. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the food is AMAZING, from what I know people just come on cycle rides and just family days out. Well worth visiting this place.
