About Delmont Hotel
Delmont Hotel occupies a row of period buildings on Blenheim Terrace in Scarborough, the kind of solid seaside terrace architecture that lines this part of North Yorkshire's coast. It sits within easy reach of Scarborough Castle and Peasholm Park, giving it a good base for exploring the town on foot.
Rooms are en-suite, with a lift for access and some benefiting from sea views that make up for the fact that others run on the smaller side, and maintenance can be patchy in places. Facilities extend to a restaurant and bar, free WiFi, drinks and packed lunches available, and free on-site parking. The hotel also caters for weddings, with a bridal suite and VIP facilities, plus business services for those travelling for work, and pets are welcome.
Breakfast and the Sunday lunch are particular strengths, and staff are consistently helpful. Beyond the hotel, the surrounding area offers golf, fishing, watersports, cycling and walking routes, along with nearby pubs, restaurants and entertainment, making it a practical choice for a straightforward coastal stay.

What guests say
After reading some of the reviews online, I was nervous about staying over. But honestly it's nice! I've felt really cosy in my room, it's bright and airy. My room is clean, the bed is so comfy and I slept well. I could do a week in this hotel no problem. Reception staff are very welcoming, and the location is probably the best you will find. My room looks freshly painted and cleaned, so I think they're working their way around the rooms to update them. Don't be put off, give it a chance.

The room i got was pretty good for what it is and made my 1 night stay comfortable. the bed was great too. I was expecting a buffet breakfast as their emails to me after booking were advertising an "all you can eat breakfast" - which was misleading and inaccurate when i ended up picking from a menu. Still, the vegeterian version of the English breakfast was lovely. all its components were tasty and most likely cooked to order. Staff were nice and friendly!

Deluxe rooms definitely are not, smelt of poo, shower didn't work either boiling hot or freezing cold, offered another room got the key went in and someone was already in there, they apologized for that. Food was lovely. Good walk to anywhere.

Came to the rescue at 9pm on a windy Friday night! Welcomes Dogs! Very friendly and professional gentleman on the desk and a working lift if not small but it works! The room was very spacious and the sea view was absolutely breathtaking, especially in the morning when the waves were rolling in, very atmospheric 🙏🏻😍 Thank you for a lovely stay and yes we would definitely return. 10/10 ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
