My wife and I visited Scarborough for the first time on the bank holiday weekend and stayed here. Met by Sarah. Great host, genuinely a lovely person wanting to help you get the most from your stay whether it was from the hotel or the town itself. She worked tirelessly the whole time. What commitment! Our room was clean newly refurbished and comfortable. A little small which we could have asked or booked bigger- our fault, but totally functional for the couple of days we had here. Special thank you to Harry who helped deliver a wonderful breakfast each morning. I would recommend you have breakfast here if you stay. You couldn't get better produce and value elsewhere - guaranteed! Finally a big thank you to Sarah and her husband (who we sadly didn't get to see) both work tirelessly to make it a genuine and lovely experience for their visitors. Nice to meet people who care about doing that for other! Location and sea view were both fabulous. Hope to visit again.....

Absolutely blown away with is family run business, The Rockside location has fantastic views across the bay, the rooms are immaculately clean, well presented, and comfortable. The rockside is friendly to all and you feel at home straight away, welcomed by Darrell & Sarah. Throughly enjoyed the cooked breakfast and the honesty bar was a pleasent surprise, I would definitely recommend this lovely bed and breakfast, needless to say we will return to enjoy it once more. We've had a lovely relaxing stay at Rockside. Very clean, fresh and comfortable. The owners take great care of their guests, building and accommodation.

Very nice family run place on the seafront. We could see the Scarborough castle from our room and the whole of the North Bay. Got a very rare opportunity of seeing a rainbow over the sea. The business ran an Honesty Bar and the guests could pay for their drinks in the following morning. First time we came across this facility in a B&B place. The smiles of the two sons helping their parents in the morning to serve us the excellent breakfast brightened our day. We understand the shortage of staff in the hospitality industry. Cleaning the room for guests staying in for more than 4 days, it should be essential to get the bins emptied and attended to the room without having to ask for it. Guests are paying for the service.
