About The Selomar
Blenheim Terrace looks out towards the sea, and it's this setting that gives The Selomar its main appeal, a Victorian house within easy reach of Scarborough's seafront and historic attractions. Guests can expect sea views from parts of the building, along with a lounge and bar area for relaxing after a day exploring the coast.
Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms and drinks available in room, and family rooms are available for those travelling with children. Breakfast is included, free WiFi runs throughout, and there's outdoor seating for warmer days, with 24 hour reception on hand whenever needed. Free on-site parking is a useful bonus in a seaside town where space can be tight.
The surrounding area suits an active stay, with golf, fishing, cycling and watersports all nearby, plus pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy reach for evenings out. It's a straightforward base for a coastal break, well placed for both the town and the water beyond it.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a wonderful stay at The Selomar in Scarborough. From the moment we arrived, the owners made us feel like part of the family. They were so warm, welcoming, and genuinely cared about making sure we had everything we needed. The hotel was spotless throughout and exceptionally clean, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing – freshly cooked, delicious, and with plenty of choice to set us up for the day. If you’re looking for a friendly, welcoming place to stay with fantastic hospitality, excellent cleanliness, and a superb breakfast, I couldn’t recommend The Selomar highly enough. We will definitely be returning!

This is a nice clean hotel, lovely sea view from our room, but a fair bit of a walk into town or to nearby amenities. We were on the top floor and it was a struggle getting up to the room after we had completed about 15,000 steps each during the day!!! Room was very hot, a fan was provided which helped, unfortunately you can't predict English weather. Bathroom was clean, shower was electric type so water flow is a bit low. Breakfast was ideal for us, we like a nice English breakfast. They don't smash avocados here or serve smelly fish, wonderful! The staff were pleasant and helpful.

We came for two nights for my son’s 13th birthday treat away to Scarborough. Is a lovely place to stay. Friendly owners and staff. A lovely cooked breakfast every morning with lots to choose from, cereals, fruit etc. Good selections. Room very good and clean and everything you needed. A nice sea view from hotel room. Owner suggested the Scarborough arms pub and we tried on Saturday evening was lovely food and home cooked. Would highly recommend place to stay
