Beautiful hotel in a lovely location, minutes away from South Bay & next door to Valley Gardens/Rotunda Museum. Hotel is pristine with a beautiful shady outdoor seating area, bar & pool table. Lovely rooms, very clean, comfy bed, nice & quiet at night. Breakfast was superb, one of the best we've ever had (hot & cold options, cereals/fruit/yoghurt & coffee machine, plenty of choice). Hosts were friendly & welcoming. Would definitely recommend. 10/10 ⭐️

Myself and 3 of my friends stopped at this hotel in the family room..We were celebrating being friends since we were 5 years old and our all soon to be 60th birthdays by watching Michael Buble at Scarborough Open Air Theatre on Monday 6th July. The Raincliffe is in the perfect location, our room had 3 single beds and 1 double, very comfy, pristinely clean, very friendly staff who helped us out with taxis and directions, made us feel very welcomed. The breakfast was amazing, the staff were so tentative, nothing was too much trouble. We all came from 4 corners of England, it's not too far from the train station and we plan to come back next year and spend a couple of days here so we can explore beautiful Scarborough.

Throughly enjoyed our stay Carol was a gem such a lovely lady made the stay feel like a home from home. Room was clean and spacious everything we may need plenty of storage. Only downside very small bathroom but minor in scheme of things. Breakfast was amazing lots of compliments and a pleasant walk to the sea front would stay again.

Stayed here for one night with my girlfriend. The owners are very nice and welcoming, great rooms, tv and facilities, as well as good location. We both made use of their pool table in the evening. Enjoyed a cooked breakfast in the morning.
