Groom’s Bell

Groom's Bell is one of three properties at Castletoun House, a small cluster in a village centre. The cottage sleeps four across two bedrooms, each with zip-and-link beds that convert between twin and super-king configurations. Both rooms have ensuite bathrooms with heated towel rails. Downstairs, a single open-plan space combines kitchen, dining and living areas around a woodburner, with a separate toilet and bike store completing the ground floor.

The kitchen comes equipped for full self-catering: electric oven, induction hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, along with initial fuel for the woodburner. Board games, toys and children's books are stored in the living room, and a travel cot and highchair are available on request. An enclosed front garden with BBQ and sun deck provides outdoor space; there is parking for two cars on site.

The village location puts you within walking distance of a restaurant, butcher, pharmacy and grocery shop. One dog can stay free. The cottage has access to a shared thermal hot tub on the grounds, which requires separate booking. Smoking is not permitted inside.
