SHOCKING EXPERIENCE POOR MICROWAVE FOOD. Very long wait staff couldn't care. Would never ever go back or recommend. Also extremely noisy couldn't hear your self talk.

Hanleys ruined a great caravan site because of their greed. Chased away alot of residents who had been there for years. They advertise that there is no age limit but there is especially when you try to sell the caravan back to them. If your looking for a quiet wee park at overpriced site fees well this is for you.

My husband and I came across Blackadder Holiday Park quite by chance when we were looking for a place for some R&R in the Scottish Borders. I work as a private Chef, I often work 15+ hour days in high pressure environments so to have found a place as peaceful and tranquil as Blackadder has been such a joy. I phoned on spec and spoke with Nick, who couldn't have been more helpful or accomodating. We arranged to come and view some of the mobile homes and lodges that were for sale. From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the gentle pace of life at Blackadder, how well the whole Holiday Park was maintained from the roadways, the landscaping, statues etc. Nick answered all our questions, there was no hard sell and we were thrilled to be able to purchase our little nest at Blackadder. From the moment we put down our deposit Nick kept us informed of progress and we have already had many lovely weekends here at Blackadder. Nothing is too much for the team here, any questions or issues we have had have been dealt with by the staff. They have gone above and beyond to help us 'newbies' We couldn't be happier. If you are looking for a place to escape from it all, a base to explore the borders then Blackadder is the place for you. And maybe one day my husband will stop humming a certain theme tune everytime we drive in. Our two dogs also give it 10 out of 10.
