Great location, ideal for touring Borders Region. On site WiFi. Only two electric hookups. On site BBQ. No toilets or washing facilities, so you need to be self sufficient. We had a lovely quiet and warm weekend, with added bonus of Aurora Borealis.

We came to Onstead for a few days, however, we decided to stay for 10 days, beautiful scenery, quiet, peaceful and relaxing, so convenient for a selection o shops, hotels and lovely tearooms. The owner John and his son Ian were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be visiting again.

A very nice quiet campsite in the countryside. We were very happy to be able to stay here for one night and received a friendly welcome despite the late hour. On a clear night you can look at the stars beautifully!
