Spooky Surprises at Bowhill House 🎃 There’s something extra magical about Halloween at Bowhill House in the Scottish Borders. The grand estate transforms into a world of juicy pumpkins ready for picking, rustling leaves, and ghostly giggles echoing through the trees. The spooky Halloween trail is designed with families in mind... it is simple and manageable for all ages and takes kids through the adventure playground! Very exciting! Families can wander the trails together, spotting coffins, spiders, and the occasional mischievous “ghost” hiding in the trees. Whether you’re here for trick-or-treat trails or twilight walks by the loch, Bowhill is the ultimate autumn adventure! 📍Location: Bowhill House, Selkirk, Scotland

Gorgeous place with real thought put into activities. We went on the Easter trail with free lunchbox included with came to £42 for a family of 5. This is an absolute bargain seen as we were there for 5 1/2 hours and could have stayed longer. The trail is really engaging with activities and not being too much walking for little ones. The lawn games were fab and we didn't have to pay extra which is rare these days. There was also crafts in the kitchen which my little one loved. The playground was great and the addition of a coffee van was welcome for the adults. Really looking to returning for others events throughout the year.

Beautiful surroundings, lots of walks and photo opportunities. Point of interest is the fabulous kids play park, complete with forts and "mega cool" slides, (on the authority of two very happy kids,) with multiple picnic table areas to enjoy your food. The little café makes fantastic fresh food, which you can get to take out. Will definitely be back!
