What visitors say
We had a lovely break away in one of their new statics. Lovely walks, found the site very peaceful. It does seem like they are trying their best to improve the place but must be difficult with so many run down statics. Will probably cost a lot to have them removed.

Very peaceful 4 nights... Everything we needed was in the lodge. Gary was on hand any time of the day and nothing was to much trouble for him (we did need a gas bottle changed). Really comfortable lodge. My wife enjoyed the relaxation.. Quiet and calmness. Lovely long walks in the forest with my dog, who got to run free from the lead. Nice dark clear skies at night. Definitely booking again.

We had a fantastic time here. It’s set in such a quiet, beautiful area. Great if you want to get away from the hussle and bussle. I was prepared for no internet or signal but actually had great service on Tesco/O2. The lodge had everything we needed, with staff there if we needed them. Best to get shopping on the drive in. It’s quite remote but we enjoyed getting out on the road every day and seeing the amazing surroundings, including St. Mary’s Loch, Grey Mare’s Tail and Devil’s Beeftub. We even took a day out to Edinburgh.

The log cabin needs updated the double doors in lounge let the cold in as there is a gap in the doors. The water pressure is all over the place. When you turn the tap on it spits out then goes off and back on. The hot water was cold to have a shower. We had to heat water up in pans to have a bath. I would not stay here again
