About Cutlers Hotel

Cutlers Hotel is a family-run independent hotel in Sheffield's Theatreland, within a few minutes' walk of the Crucible and Lyceum theatres and the city's main shopping streets. It has traded from the same city centre address for decades, building a following among theatre-goers and value-conscious visitors alike.

Rooms are simply furnished but well kept, and the hotel's ground floor bar and restaurant serve straightforward pub-style food, popular before or after a show. Its independent ownership gives it a more personal feel than the nearby chain hotels.

The central location means the station, museums and Peace Gardens are all within easy walking distance, making it a practical, budget-friendly base for a short Sheffield city break.

This crib is great.... good location and smiles all round. Only problem is when you share with 3 other boys you struggle with the limited toilet roll! Upon request of more toilet roll it was delivered at a great time if you catch my drift. The toilet flushes well and can take a beating! The sink does it's job Well, the shower is very hard to get it to the perfect temperature! Toilet roll felt glorious even after excessive wiping! The view is amazing. No stains on the bedding or walls which is a pleasant surprise! The room is very warm but a fan is provided! Overall this place is great for the price. Key feature that excelled my expectations... the toilet.

Go gym here. Just newly done up. Amazing, only guttering thing is as soon as gym is all new prices have bumped up, but Sam the PT sorted me out with giving me a deal before I got charged £42 per month. Amazing staff but charged extra to my friend.

Perfectly pleasant, well priced hotel with all amenities you'd expect. A little noisy but it's the city centre - it goes with the territory. Comfortable, very clean rooms. Staff were very pleasant and welcoming and stored my bags for me whilst I attended a conference, saving me dragging them everywhere. Not stayed at a Best Western before, will definitely consider it again.

Hotel is in an OK location but as it's in the centre it's very noisy and really difficult to sleep. Rooms are tiny and have no air con so get really hot... Some windows open but make no difference and just amplify the noise. This is probably the dirtiest hotel room I've stayed in my life and we checked out early because of it. Bathroom was dusty and filthy in parts, window ledge and tops of the windows were caked in thick sludgy dust.. photos attached. I would not stay here again.
