Very nice preserved croft house, this is a short stop as it is only the one building (probably a 15-20 stop); there are people on site who can answer questions in detail

Felt like a hidden gem, well worth a visit. Completely preserved traditional Shetland Croft. Run by volunteers and admission by donation. open 10-12 and 1-4, volunteer on sight gave us an excellent tour through the sight and had lots of stories and insight into the lives of Shetlanders. Spent about 20-30 minutes, bathrooms on sight

really great place to visit, nice (not too long) info on boards in each room and very innformative curator. Well worth the trip and do make a donation to help keep them going

Visited today and what a brilliant talk by Donna who brought the hoose to life! Really enjoyed it and if you want to really see and feel how folks lived not so long ago this is the one to visit. A small peat fire was burning too which REALLY made it authentic! 🤣. Free to visit but donate by cash or card. 10/10. Thank you for explaining so knowledgably and passionately.
