About Bridge End Outdoor Centre
Shetland's remote position north of Scotland makes it a destination for those seeking genuine isolation and dramatic seascapes. Bridge End Outdoor Centre sits within this landscape as a lodging base, offering shower facilities for guests. The centre caters to people drawn to the islands for hiking, birdwatching, fishing or simply the stark beauty of the terrain.
The site provides a practical stopping point rather than a resort experience. With showers on hand, it serves as functional accommodation for outdoor pursuits across Shetland. The islands are known for long summer daylight and challenging weather, so the centre works best for visitors prepared for both.

I was using campsite. Nice camping spot. Showers are coin operated (5- 6min shower per coin). To use kettle and microvawe in the kitchen you need to have coin as well what is a bit annoying if you just want to make Quick tea

Well what a find. We only came across this camp site in a marina because we were looking for somewhere to turn around. Hubby then spotted motor homes in the marina so we went and investigated. Arlene is the most lovely friendliest lady who welcomed us. There’s electric hook up, water, toilets, kitchen and laundry facilities. There’s an area for tents too and it was just a lovely stay. Thank you Arlene for making us so welcome. All the best on your new venture.
