We were the only ones there and got a tour with our entry ticket. It's incredibly interesting and well worth a visit. Also situated in a lovely area.

This charming museum is located inside Quendale Water Mill. The mill preserves its inner workings and mill wheel on the outside. Also on display are many other farming implements, information about crofter families and a WWII display that involved local actors. The gift shop has nice items for sale. Coffee is available. Mr. Peter’s, the custodian is delightful. Highly recommend a visit 👍👍👍

Aw what a super place and super helpful staff … no cafe or fresh sandwiches but did have a machine for dried soup / bovril /coffee and one or two savoury /sweet snacks which kept the wolf away from the door! Hunger outs of the way we were able to settle in to a wonderful look around an amazing museum. Thankyou!
