Ryan, Kelly and Linda were lovely hosts and very attentive. The room was comfortable and well-appointed. Ryan was very friendly, responsive and helpful from booking to checking out. Very convenient to everything in Lerwick. Easy parking a block away. Meeting other guests at breakfast (also well done) and sharing experiences was a bonus. Lots of great tips and local info from the hosts. Would 100% stay here every time I come to Shetland.

Fort Charlotte Guest House was a fantastic experience from start to finish. Welcome Pack sent via WhatsApp on booking, flexible check-in, beautiful room, given late check out at no additional cost, delicious breakfasts and lovely service - I couldn't find a single negative thing to say! I stayed in the King Suite which had a fridge complete with glass bottles of water and milk, a great shower, smart TV, well-sealed windows including a sash window in the bathroom that somehow withstood Storm Benjamin pounding against it and didn't make a racket, the comfiest bed and softest sheets - every detail had been considered. Highly recommend and hope to back myself before long. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We had a lovely experience staying here for two nights. We found the guest house from a Google search and loved the location into town. Ryan and Anita were very helpful leading up to our trip and we had a wonderful breakfast our last morning there. They also suggest a number of local restaurants that we tried as well. The room was comfy and quiet and it was great to just have a place to relax after a long travel day. We would happily come back!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! If you want a friendly welcome, great breakfasts, a comfy room and all just a minute from the centre then this is the place for you. Anita, Kelly and Ryan will make sure you have a wonderful base for your stay on Shetland.
