Steak and Stilton pie was good! The rosemary fries very tasty! Need to come back and try more of the pies to give a better review. They host a free comedy night every Tuesday which was amazing! Enjoyed a great dinner and show on a weekday.

The Piehole Shoreditch is a fantastic little pub that serves amazing food. We opted to eat outside at a street front table. I ordered the pie and mash with mushy peas and grilled onions. I didn't know how good a beef pie with gravy could taste until I had the food from the Piehole. My dinner companion ordered the funghi chicken pie and thoroughly enjoyed it. We shared a serving of sticky toffee pudding with custard for dessert. Words aren't enough to describe the flavors of the pudding and warm toffee and custard. If you find yourself on Shoreditch High Street be certain to drop in on the Piehole Shoreditch for a deliciously satisfying meal you won't soon forget!

Just a shame it wasn’t very busy. Otherwise hard to find fault. Great service, great food and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Like a small but well executed menu - wings and avocado dip tortillas a great start. The Kate Sidney and Filo Souk Chook were both tasty pies with gravy and the rosemary fries were delicious. Owner couldn’t have been more attentive and popped nextdoor (they also own) to get a pint off the pump. Would definitely recommend.

*** Updated Review *** Finally got back to Shoreditch to find this place open. I thought I’d give it a chance as my previous experience had been to book and turn up to find it closed. Anyway, I had the bruschetta starter, and as I couldn’t decide on the various options & combinations of pies, I went for the recommendation of a pie meal, in this case the ‘Mother Earth’, the mushroom pie on a bed of mash, the mushy peas on top of the pie, all sprinkled with crispy onion. The bruschetta was passable, well presented. The pie itself was okay, it wasn’t mind blowing, maybe my expectations were too high. In hindsight the sprinkled crispy onions were overpowering, so maybe give them a miss. The atmosphere was dark, candlelit, and perhaps more suited to a date night. The service was decent and attentive. All in all, this was okay, but I felt that it was more style over substance.

Diners like the delicious and hearty pies, with many recommending the Steak and Blue Cheese, Heidi, and vegan "Mooless Moo" options, along with tasty rosemary fries. They also highlight the free comedy nights on Tuesdays, which offer a great vibe and entertainment.

Some reviews mention the service can be unprofessional.
