What visitors say
We've been staying in lodges for over 20 years now and I must admit this was the most impressive lodge that we've ever stayed in. The Wrekin Lodge was massive, it looks very much like a Ski Lodge and has two floors. Downstairs was the kitchen and living room with a beautiful view of the garden through the patio doors. There are verandas upstairs and downstairs. There were two bedrooms upstairs with ensuite and another toilet downstairs. The interior was immaculate with cream carpet so you really had to wear slippers. They do take a £75 deposit again any damages. The site itself is very well laid out and welcomes tourers as well as the lodges. It's well landscaped and here's a number of lakes and ponds around the site. On site there is a really nice restaurant with a bar with a good range of meals and drinks, so you don't have to walk to far If you've had an exhausting day.

The Post code takes you to a place about 2 miles away. Sinage off the Main road desperately needs to be looked at. Once on the By road you soon eventually find the Entrance. The Staff are Very friendly and helpful. Pitches need to be Numbered a lot better. The Facilities are a bit dated and could of been a bit Cleaner. On a Positive note The Croft Restaurant serves excellent food and Plenty of it.

Lovely site although not a 5* showers are very out dated and basic. Small cubical with a shower curtain with lukewarm water, with a push button which is a pain you have to take a chair in to put your clothes on. 1 hairdryer available. I was actually still getting dressed and the lights went off. We fished for 1 day last week then they closed the lake due to being hot!! Why?? Fish were still swimming around.. everyone was not happy especially the men, we did get our money back for the fishing, but then we had nothing to do. We went to the pub a short walk up the road but dogs were not allowed in, it was lovely with air condition so we had a drink outside and left to hot for the dog and for us.
