About Hay Vacay

Now living its best life as bijou glamping accommodation in Shropshire countryside, The Hay Vacay is a cleverly renovated horse box set on a working sheep farm, twenty minutes from Shrewsbury. Sleeping up to four, it comes with a fully enclosed private garden and hammock for soaking up rural views, plus a kitchen corner kitted out with the essentials – kettle, toaster, air fryer, hob and fridge – for simple meals. A welcome pack of tea, coffee and milk awaits, and there's a barbecue and firepit for alfresco cooking. Steps away, a converted trailer houses your private shower room.

Walkers are well served: footpaths criss-cross the farm, and it's under five minutes on foot to join The Shropshire Way (OS maps provided). Dogs are welcome, though they must stay under control around livestock. A village shop is five minutes' drive in Dorrington, with supermarkets and several pubs within ten minutes by car. Keep noise down after 9pm and pop waste in the outside bins before you leave.
